What's your opinion of Obama's time in office ?

Its been about 7 months, and I have to say in my opinion he's been just average, and I think its going to take a little more than that to change the nation, but then again, it has only been 7 months. What's your opinion of Obama's time in office ?He has achieved more in 7 months than many former Presidents achieved in their entire term. Whether you agree with his politics or not, that's a pretty remarkable record (so far).

Recent polling data indicate;

? If Obama's hopes for a post-partisan presidency are falling short, he does get credit for trying – another area in which he far outpoints the opposition. Seventy-three percent of Americans say he's been trying to compromise with Republican leaders in Congress on important issues. Fewer than half as many, 34 percent, say the Republicans are trying to compromise with him.

? The Democratic Party leads the Republicans by 56-30 percent in trust to handle the country's main problems. That has slightly improved from 56-23 percent in December, as congressional Republicans found a unified voice in opposition to the stimulus. But the December number was the Republicans' worst in ABC/Post polls since 1982; they still have far to climb.

?Fifty percent of Americans approve of the way the Democrats in Congress are doing their jobs, while 44 percent disapprove – if hardly a barn-burner, still the Democrats' best in two years, since April 2007, just after they regained control of Congress. And their Republican counterparts are a good deal weaker: 38 percent approve, 56 percent disapprove. (Democratic gains have come mainly in two groups: among Democrats themselves, and among liberals. Seventy-seven percent of Democrats now approve of their own party; just 55 percent of Republicans feel the same about theirs.)
What's your opinion of Obama's time in office ?
Some people refer to him as the %26quot;magic *****.%26quot; Not only is this blatantly racist and hateful, it is reflective that a certain group of people in this country expect him to fix the mess that he INHERITED.
What's your opinion of Obama's time in office ?
I voted for the man, and I regret doing so. His vision for America is not sound in terms of how much it is going to cost. We are printing money like it is going out of style and my great fear is not for my generation but for the youth of America and their children and grandchildren who have to pay the kind of Taxes that will cripple them.
He has got a lot of respect here in the UK. Given time and if the American people don't keep holding him back, I think he will make a huge difference, not just for America, but for the wider world.
The president is doing the job he was elected for.You cannot measure the man against past presidents on the premise of time. The office is not a magic fix all.Give him time. Read your history, then make a judgment on the president's job.
hes done an awful job.
From an irish perspective i have to say i dont see the change he promised. i see more of the same, Only difference being he's allot more clever than the last guy.

Obama during his campaign said that if elected he would start bringing the troops home from Iraq from day 1 which didn happen and also he promised transparency with every bill being passed but that's not happening either. When i watch him talk i cant help but like him, he has a way about him. But when i look at the bigger picture all i can see is things getting worse and worse over there.
%26lt;50% approval rating and dropping. On track to be a lame duck within another 364 days. Great accomplishment, even better than the last president. And his initial approval rating was not nearly as high as the marxist occupying the white house now. That is a phenomenal drop.

What is racist about %26quot;*****%26quot;?

I suppose the NAACP is a racist organization,

Oh and the United ***** College Fund as well, right?
Obama is a really bad president,he did good things but he should not be the president only because of the reason that he has some connections with arabs
As someone else mentioned, Obama is more respected by most people i talk to in the UK. In general, i think he is a more suitable president.
I think its only going to get worse he has spent more money i his time in office than all the presidents combined what the country had before was going to work it self out but then little Barack comes to office and screwed it up
