we need more liveable lives (trying to raise a family when both parents are forced to work full time so that they can have a house and health insurance is not family values in action, but that's what we have been given by those who talk about %26quot;family values%26quot; in political campaigns)As an American, what 3 things would you most like to change about our nation and society? 2. MUCH stronger punishment for sex offenders. Make this country safe for children again.

3. Make our tax system easier and more efficient. Abolish the IRS. More taxes for the rich, less for the middle class. GOOD Welfare, but only for those who need it.

Ban Abortion: Murder of innocent children

Clean up the goverment: Put a end to all this Bashing crap and all this hostility between the two parties, and that way we go move forward, also help get rid of Corruption so that the people have more power.

Welfare changes: IF you are buying smokes and alchol with your money your Welfare will be suspended, get rid of the habit or dont eat.
Our leadership, our media and our direction. Our leadership is corrupt, our media is propaganda and we're moving toward a new world order, one world government. Defend the constitution and our republic. Be a patriot!

Americans spend too much time and effort keeping up with the Jones's, driving here and there to do everything but complain about gas prices, and worship false idols like celebrities.

I'd like to change society to value honor and education and respect for one another.
1) Americans to stop being so divided into Left and Right/Democrats and Republicans and instead come back to the middle where we belong.



2) The death of the 2 party system which has choked out all honesty and decency from politics



3) Americans to stop trashing and pissing on the Constitution in the name of their beliefs and return to truly free America where you may not like something but can accept my right to do it (within reason) instead of crusading to base all laws on your personal views.

(Gov.) Decrease Federal power - the Feds are inefficient and poorly managed. Those resources could be better utilised at the State level.



(Gov.) Strike legislation from the books that attempts to save people from themselves - seatbelt laws, drug prohibition, etc. That's not the government's purpose.



(Soc.) Rekindle personal responsibility - I would like to see Americans living within their means. Carrying thousands of dollars of debt is simply unacceptable. I'd like to see people making the right decisions for themselves and their children so that the government doesn't feel the need to take care of them.
Enforce our laws.

Repeal all those laws we have not intention of enforcing.

Fire every elected official who violates his/her oath of office and ensure that they get tried for treason.

Other than that -- Power to the people and anything goes!

The current system is terrible. We need more choices.



-Government Oversight which is completely isolated from the actual government. Maybe this should be a lifetime appointment like Supreme Court justices....this way they are less likely to be swayed.



-Any politician who violates the trust of his constituents must resign his office IMMEDIATELY. Not next week, not at the end of the month....IMMEDIATELY.





And a forth, is the end of the abuses on the American people by: Big Oil, the Healthcare industry, the Drug Makers, Insurance Companies and finally an end to ALL Lobbyists.

3. The right to life is considered an absolute RIGHT. No death Penalty and no abortions under any conditions.

Cease income tax and institute sales tax.

Abolish Social Security and let people keep the $ they have earned.

Make reading and writing ENGLISH mandatory. No illiteracy at all.
I would like to go back to a time before the government was in charge of our lives in such a major way.

I realise that my wish list is simplistic, but consider that in my lifetime, the government now controls health care and personal safety at a level never before seen. They have it so screwed up that most people don't think that they have personal responsibility. That has made us pigs at the teat.
1) Place restrictions on abortion, so that the only times abortion would be legal was in the child would have a severely disabling disease or if the mother was raped.



2) Get rid of welfare entirely. In New Orleans after the hurricane, there were two lines: one where people could get their welfare money, and one where people could get jobs and work for their money. The work line was empty. We have people who are coasting on government hand-outs and not working at all.



3) Change the tax system. Everyone pays the exact same taxes, whether rich or poor. And if people only have the one part time job and would qualify for the current rax refund, too bad. They need to get another/better job.

3. Remember when TV was free? WHY DO WE PAY FOR TELEVISION???!!!! WE'RE PAYING FOR COMPANIES TO PIPE THEIR ADVERTISING RIGHT INTO YOUR LIVING ROOM! If a television show is %26quot;sponsored by...%26quot; whomever then aren't they paying for the cost of the broadcast ???? And since we do pay for television....shouldn't it be commercial free. Aren't I the %26quot;sponsor?%26quot; I say free television for everone.
