You can research both and compare.
To start you off, the Articles created an extremely loose union of independent states with virtually no powers gicen to a central goevernment. For example, under the Articles, the central government could not levy taxes, could not raise an army, could not declare war, could not regulate trade, etc.
Not sure what Washington connection you were looking for.
EDIT: Then the report you are doing should be how the addition of an Executive branch in the US Constitution improves the government model that the Articles tried to implement. (I am not sure that the only significant changes were just in the creation of the Executive branch -- many of the most positive changes actually were in the creation of a central authority (Congress) that WAS empowered to do many of the things that the Articles did not account for.
