What method of value resoning can you use to change an person, class or nation that practices discrimination.?

This is a philosophy question i have. it is talking about ways you can change peoples values about racial or sexual discrimination. It says can ithicla reasoning be used to persuade other that %26quot;human rights%26quot; are a %26quot;right%26quot;?? Im not real sure how i would begin to answer it so please HELPWhat method of value resoning can you use to change an person, class or nation that practices discrimination.?First of all, you don't try to change people's values about anything. Everyone has their right to their opinion's and belief's. Everyone already has %26quot;human rights%26quot;; some just do not know how to use them. This is suppose to be America.....not old Russia or Germany. People are going to think the way they think.....unfortunately some are discriminatory and that i a shame. But, you cannot change them because you don't want them to be who they are....that just not right. Like I said, everyone has their %26quot;rights%26quot;. Didn't and don't mean to step on any toes and if I did, I apologize, but you have to think things thru.

I've not heard of ithicla reasoning, so I probably don't know what I'm writing about, but I'm certain all nations, all classes and almost all people practice discrimination.

If any nation wants the best for it's own people it discriminates against other nations, usually unwisely. If any class in society want the best deal for themselves they discriminate against other classes, for selfish greed. People discriminate against others for a hundred and one reasons, but, if they think about it, not for one single good reason.

This is the way of the world since the dawn of civilization, and changing it by value reasoning is a headache. Most of the world is aware that if only everybody could work together as a family, if the strong in body, mind, and spirit, could help and support the weak, we could all have a better, more satisfying life. But most of the world is also weak-willed wanting only a peaceful, contented life. Cynicism kicks in and we all shrug our shoulders and say that some greedy, selfish, cheating, individuals will come along and spoil it all.
