Is it possible to change a nations national sport ?

Indias national sport is hockey, but there barely any people which still watch.. mostly everyone watches cricket.. + No company is sponsoring in hockey.. while cricket in india is swimming in money!!

So i guess its time for a change ?Is it possible to change a nations national sport ?It is not all about money or glamor it is all about Pride

Just tell which sport glorified India more Hockey or Cricket.

How many No.1 positions in Hockey (Olympic, World Cup, Asian Games, Common Wealth Games etc., etc.,).

How many No.1 positions in Cricket One in 1983 world cup and one in T-20 in 2007 what else.



I think in my opinion Asian hockey is down due to rapid changes in rules.



And I am quite optimistic that in near future Hockey will attain its Glory in Asia again.

It's possible. New Zealand's national sport is Rugby but these days there are more children playing Soccer and League than Rugby.
