The candidates are all using the buzz word %26quot;Change%26quot; in their slogans.
We the tax paying citizens know that the only way to get change from politicians, is to give them a dollar.
Our constitution is still effective if used properly.
How many here believe we need %26quot;change%26quot; and how many believe we need to get back to our nations roots and what our country was founded upon?Does our nation need change?I would like the candidates to explain what change they plan on making and HOW they plan on making these changes happen. I would like to see our country return to the once great country it was because the principles it was founded on are the reason it was once a great country. When we left those principles the high school drop out rate increased, unwanted pregnancies sky rocketed, divorce increased, taxes increased, violence increased, and our nations security weakened.Does our nation need change?Yes!
Vote for Ron Paul or Dennis KucinichDoes our nation need change?By advocating going back to our country's roots, you, too, are calling for change!if we want to compete with china and the rest of the world, we must rethink are economic system-less governmentThe Constitution must be restored. The fascists must be marginalized. At this point %26quot;change%26quot; and %26quot;roots%26quot; are somewhat synonymous to me.
Ever since we saw the income tax come into play, it's almost as if we've seen the country go further and further away from what the forefathers wanted. Ever since the turn of the 19th century, we've been going further and further away from what we we're founded on.
So, we do need change but we need to change from this new age political system, back to the old one.The change we need is to get Oil Barons and their filth out of the White House for good. This country needs a big change. Everything our country does should be examined. But with Hillary Clinton and John McCain there will be no change.I think we need change in a lot of ways. However, it's like grade school elections: candidates make promises that they can't realistically keep (remember the promise for doing away with all tests). Well, the thing here is candidates are promising, for example, a nationwide healthcare plan, without offering a realistic and viable vehicle for the implementation of such a program. They fail to offer a realistic plan for the %26quot;creation%26quot; of all the necessary funds.
So, although we need change, it has to come gradually, and it will only occur if people are able to suggest realistic goals to implement (for example, withdrawal of all troops from Iraq immediately, is not realistic and thus is not a %26quot;plan%26quot; for change). We need to clean house and start over with term limits. I do not believe that the Framers intention was for people to become life long Senators and Congressmen. My feeling is that they wanted the citizen statesman, not the tax loving blowhards that are in there now. Kennedy and Clinton want to tax everyone out of their savings, they want everyone to pay their fair share. Ted Kennedy has his family money in Fiji and the Clinton's, just last week said theirs is invested in the Caymans. They pay no taxes on their wealth. The only change we need, is to change back to what the constitution outlines for government. That means getting rid of the welfare/nanny state, substantially decreasing the size of the federal government, decreasing spending, tax cuts, controlling illegal immigration and pretty much scrapping every liberal idea or plan being implemented.I'd be satisfied with a Democratic President who does not ignore the Constitution! Bush thinks it's just a %26quot;piece of paper%26quot; and abuses it all of the time. YES, we need a big change!Going back to our roots and what our country was founded upon would be change. A large majority in this country, both Republican and Democrat believe our country is headed in the wrong direction. This means we have to CHANGE directions.Restoration.Support Ron Paul!
Even if he doesn't get the nomination (which unfortunately he won't) his strong support will make an impact on politics and prove that Americans really do care about their roots.
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/Now that Obama got beat, we can go back to politics as usual..........Clinton-McCain.Change yes, but change through experienced and strong leaders. With that said we can ill afford someone like Osama bin Lama who thinks he is a new JFK or a Martin Luther King when in reality this is not the case, and something he engulfs his insecure mindset in. Guess he forgot JFK was in the congress for 14 years, not 2 like him. His a dirty, lying and a manipulating man. He insults the American publics intellect.
Bless Hillary, what a great woman!
Go Hillary!
