Why do they do this? It's probably because America doesn't accept kindred peaceful people in our midst.
Those who are born with love are either corrupted by Greed and vanity. While the innocent minded are bombarded by hatred and demeaning gestures to be normal, they slowly dwindle to the side of darkness in hopes that they will be left alone even if it means that they must use Satan to cause fear in those who try to harm them.
I find most Satanic people to be of the highest intelligence. Some of the people with the biggest heart and soul. They regress what mankind is doing to the world and they use their hatred (not in a vile manner) but use it in a disappointing manner of the world view and what it is becoming.
Even so, to find peace in the Prince of Darkness is not something they should consider a shelter.

I think this is about a particular phenomenon that you have probably noticed yourself:
People often work really hard to portray themselves as the exact opposite of what they are.
Example:
-When a guy feels the need to brag about what a nice guy they are...I start running the other way. Because I know it is not true.
-The poor always pretend to have money.
-The wealthy pretend to be poor.
-People who never get laid brag about how much a** they get.
-People who get laid all the time pretend to be conservative (that is how they get their next victim after all)

People do bad things in the name of religion. But that doesn't mean the religion itself is bad, it just means that person is evil and using religion as an excuse to do wrong.
It may not always seem like it, but God is very in control of the world. Satan is in it aswel doing bad things, but God has him on a leash. He can only do so much to us. Satanism will never become a leading religion in any country.
Maybe only near the time of Christs return. Read Revelations, it tells more on how the beast will be in control for a while before Christ returns.
