How to get the large amounts of people in the US more intrested in football?

How Can we get the USA more intrested in football, I know many of them think its %26quot;boring%26quot; and %26quot;a wussy sport%26quot; and my favorite %26quot;low scoring%26quot;. But how can other nations and footballers in the United States spread football fever across the whole nation? Think Big Changes people! thanks in advanceHow to get the large amounts of people in the US more intrested in football?hmm..showing it more on tv and getting more people interested in it. i know when we started playing soccer in high school for pe and stuff a lot of people started getting interested in it some even joined the local soccer clubs. basically just giving it more exposure in the us. well hopefully w/ players like beckham playing for galaxy america might start paying more attention to soccer. i heard that tickets for games soldout once they found out beckham joined the team.

Remove long boring low scoring baseball, then eliminate bore fest hockey, then maybe Americans will drift to a more active sport. Baseball is Americas passtime, no wonder we are so lazy and fat.

Football is already very popular in the US - it's just a more exciting sport than soccer.
try shoffings with ur ball i meant football people will like it and try to learn or hold up a conyest regarding showoffs with free audience
It's not easy and those kids who get into it aren't ECONOMICALLY smart. Soccer players are terribly underpaid by American sports standards.

A soccer player has a typical career of 5-10 years. A top tier player makes $10-12 million a year. A superstar like Ronaldinho makes $25-30 million a year. The odds of playing for a professional soccer team that pays that kind of money are 10-20 times greater than making it as a baseball player, 5 times greater than basketball and perhaps 100 times greater than American football.

Lifespan of a baseball player 10-15 years. Average income and top superstar income is the same.

Lifespan of an American football player is 3-7 years. Average income is the same. Odds are 100 times greater to go pro.

That said Soccer players are VASTLY underpaid by American standards.
Americans have the MLS to look up to. Ouch.

David Beckham will help but not too much. The U.S. needs international sucess to help the sport along.
More exposure of course. ESPN or whatever other sports channels should dedicate, at least, one match per day. I mean if you check out those channels now you see poker or dominoes! I mean.. come on! Those are not even sports.. so they really need to broadcast games more.
