The year of 2008 has come, this is the year where we as a nation will come together and elect for our next president. This is the year of changes when November come, it is also the year to fix our mistake, and the year to improve on our country. When it come to elect their president, the people had different demand for their perfect person.
The campaign for the next president has started early this year between the Republican and the Democratic, all the candidates had go into this campaign wanting to win and taken over the spot of President Bush, and take the responsible to take care for our nation. The first thing the candidates going into this campaign is wanting to change our nation, not only does they wanted from our old mistake, but also improve on our economy. I think this is really important for voters as they look to who they wants to vote for the president who will get our troops out of Iraq, and he/she will be able to fix the mistake we had made from our first decision to go into a war. A war that hasn led us to anywhere, instead it has left our people without a husband, or a son, but it also left us the responsible of knowing we had to put our troops in Iraq to fix our destruction because we had killed millions of innocent people. Any candidates who become our next president need to have some experience in the office, to be able to let our nation out of this mistake.
The second thing voters should for in a candidates to become our president is his/her intelligent, who will be able to get our country out of this economy crisis, from our debt from the war in Iraq, the drop of housing market, the US market, to the problem with the trading between the US and the China. I think any candidates who will be able to fix all of this problem and get our nation out of this problems, has done their job as a president to take care our nation and had listen to us, the voters of wanting to change.
The campaign had started, and the candidates had begin to started to listen to the citizen of wanting to changes and made this country a better place. Now it is our turn as a voters, and asked our self what qualities do we really look for in the candidates for our next president? It is hard to make comments about the quality of this essay, not knowing what grade you are in. But I will say that it is a little repetative and that perhaps you could make a couple more points. The question of what qualities votes want in the next president is a complicated one, and not as simple as this essay makes it sound. You really only make two points, that the candidate should be a problem-solver and be intelligent. But I think that the American voters want more than that.
