Should the GOP ask RINO's to leave to allow better/newer blood into the Republican Party?

Arlen Specter moved, I respect him for doing that.

It seems that voters simply do not research a candidate's voting record, It seems voters remember a name and cast their vote based on that. Case in point is Indiana. Sen. Lugar has a Conservative voting record bottomed at 58%, just above Snowe and Collins of Maine, and Specter of PA. Also of Indiana, Dan Coats won the GOP nomination with over 60%, yet he and Sen. Lugar voted for Ruth Ginsburg for SCOTUS in 1993.

Does it seem that people vote in an uneducated manner? Is there a crisis in the Republican Party because no one has asked the democrat blue dogs to remove their Republican badge, thus making room for real Conservatives? Also, what of Conservative values that are SUPPOSED to found in the GOP? Where else can we Conservatives go for representation of our values, and in particular the nation changing lifetime appointments to the SCOTUS?

What is your opinion?

.Should the GOP ask RINO's to leave to allow better/newer blood into the Republican Party?Ask them to leave no sir!,I say throw them out, refuse them a spot on the Republican ballot in the primaries, now that is what needs to be done in my opinion. I also firmly believe in changing the name of the Republican Party to the Conservative Party and keep it conservative

A real conservative isn't a neocon. Shall we get rid of ALL the neocons in the Republican Party? I'd support that. What about the religious nutballs that REAGAN brought with him...lets dump them as well. After all, they didn't exist under the Republican %26quot;tent%26quot; initially (as a political force).

Of course if we did that than Republicans are starting to mirror libertarians.

John McCain is a true fiscal conservative.
I agree with you actually. I think many people vote with no real idea of what is going on at all. I feel that they seem to think an R or a D is a vote for what they believe without really studying what a candidate is all about. I would say the 2008 Presidential election is the perfect example of this. I also think that the republicans need to throw the Rhinos out. They for sure need some younger blood in the party and they need to get back to their conservative routes and message. I also think Michal Steele needs to go. He is completely disconnected with what republican voters think and want. I think we need to vote out every incumbent and vote in people who believe in our conservative values and retake the republican party.
