I have on occasion been subjected to mild discrimination for simply not being a theist. And there is a certain segment of Christianity that seems intent on changing this nation into a theocracy. I don’t think most Christians feel that way, but clearly some do. You might think this is just paranoia on my part, so let me support my claim with some quotes:

I could list more, but I think you get the point. I am not being paranoid, there is a segment of Christianity that views all non Christians as evil, and wants total control of society. For me not to speak up would be foolish.Why are we atheists here?amen.

I don't agree with a lot of what Pat Robertson has to say. It is refreshing to have a point/question by someone who does not share my beliefs, that doesn't bash those that do share my beliefs. As far as a theocracy, I doubt it will happen in the US, at least not a Christian theocracy. I cannot agree that atheists should be considered unpatriotic either. I would not mind the State allowing the church to be a recognized establishment of learning, and I am not talking about expensive private schools that most Americans cannot afford. However, I don't see the church being the only source of education either.
Don't worry things are going to change.
