Politics and Presidents Job?

I am absolutely disturbed by the shallowness of Pink's %26quot;Dear Mr. President%26quot;

Is it only me who believes that we are giving a man a position and expect him to do God's miracles? That when he does not, we suddenly blame him for not doing his job,锘?a job that in my opinion is unachievable to meet the goals.

It is not one mans burden to change the nation. It is the very people who are complaining and yet do nothing because they wait for men greater than them to do it for them, and then be able to complain when those people fail.

One person can only do so much, but the things Obama has chosen to do were bad choices. The stimulus didn't perform as advertised, but Obama pushed as hard as he could to get it slammed through Congress in record time. The health care reform bill is another expensive stinker (try reading it, it's just loaded with pork and government expansion), but again Obama is trying to slam it through Congress as fast as possible. It's not too much to expect honesty and wisdom from a President. Acting like a spoiled child who wants everything now even when it's obviously a bad decision and something most Americans don't want is bound to draw criticism. Simply changing for change's sake is not the way to go. If there are problems, making things worse is no solution.

He shouldn't have promised it then. Promising things to people (especially with the intelligence levels of most Americans) that you know you can't keep is called lying.
When I voted for him, all I ask of him is to clean up the corruption in the White House.

Hold those accountable for wasteful government spending.

Provide transparency and 72 hours to look over bills going through the House and Senate.

Keep America safe from terrorist attacks.

A man is only as good as his word.

I expect him to keep his word.

Once he has done those things, we may have been able to afford his wants. Unfortunately, he chooses to keep the Nation in an uproar and bankrupt.

Now, I do not expect him to do anything expect travel,

keep his mouth shut in foreign countries and

refrain from decision making until his term is over.
