I am a Republican, and I respect all the candidates. I don%26#039;t HATE Obama. He is a smart, studious man of color who COULD change the nation. But I%26#039;m talking about the way Oprah or Andrew Jackson (before president) did. This man is not the right person to be president. He%26#039;s inexperienced, too naive, and a bit weak. Don%26#039;t get me wrong, I%26#039;d love for a Black person to become president, but Barack Obama is not the person to make that change, just as Hilary Clinton isn%26#039;t the right woman. I%26#039;m more worried about the war right now than making %26quot;change%26quot;. Honestly, I think that is all those %26quot;young voters%26quot; are thinking, about %26quot;changing the nation with a woman or black man as president %26quot; Don%26#039;t they realize that neither Clinton nor Obama is worried about winning the war? They want to surrender, and I%26#039;m not okay with that.
When I see Barack Obama, 2 words come to mind:
Jimmy. Carter.
Let%26#039;s not re-live THAT experience.......Do you hate Barack Obama? I don%26#039;t but...?I think Hillary is plenty experienced with helping where it%26#039;s needed.She is strong %26amp; determined.We need those things in a president.hussein talks big but has never been experienced enough in any area to be president of such a large country with all the problems we have right now.
Do you hate Barack Obama? I don%26#039;t but...?
No, I just don%26#039;t agree with income redistribution and oppressing people through social programs.
Do you hate Barack Obama? I don%26#039;t but...?
Jimmy Carter is an international peace keeper. We could use his help.
I don%26#039;t hate Barak Obama.
Now Hillary does make my stomach hurt.
You know Jimmy Carter is a very smart man. And of course you should support me. I want to keep America at war forever so we can bully the world around. I%26#039;m talking about kicking @ss and taking names! WOO HOO!!
I wanted to add that we know where Bin Laden is....he%26#039;s in Afghanistan but if my BFF George caught him, then we wouldn%26#039;t get to play war anymore. War is AWESOME!!!
Senator Obama will be a fine President one day, but he%26#039;s just not ready yet. Give him four or eight years and he will better avoid the controversies he seems to get himself into.
I am humbled by your wisdom. You are probably right, and he probably is, but the fact is that I trust Hillary a lot less than I trust Obama. You may be Republican, but I am not a Democrat. I am an Independent, and a lot of his voters are Indy also. If we have 4 years of niave change, at least it will be change, instead of %26quot;more of the same.%26quot;
I don%26#039;t like McCain, nor Hillary, a lot more than I don%26#039;t trust Obama. Obama is Idealism, experience or no experience. I will trust the %26quot;right thing%26quot; because I know it when I see it. We may be young, but we are not stupid. The Baby Boomers (you) made this country what it is today. WE will fix it.
personally, i%26#039;m a liberal and i look at whomever best represents my beliefs on issues like (the war, abortion, gay marriage, etc..).
these come waaaay before color, age or gender...which i%26#039;ve realised doesn%26#039;t really matter anymore.
Why do you think we can %26#039;win%26#039; this Iraq war? It%26#039;s not about surrender it%26#039;s about getting ourselves out of the middle of a civil war. Think about what you mean when you say we need to win. Because I am not sure you can give me an answer.
~Republican for Obama 08
%26quot;He is a smart, studious man of color who COULD change the nation.%26quot;
%26quot;Don%26#039;t get me wrong, I%26#039;d love for a Black person to become president%26quot;
i think you%26#039;re too stuck in the racial department.
you%26#039;re trying to be more open, however it appears to me you%26#039;re not ready for change yet. i dont like that, but i respect it.
and they see the problem about war, they dont just want to surrender. im not a clinton fan but i can even agree with her when she understands that war doesnt gain you status- it loses it. yeah al queida is out of iraq [for the most part] but where else do you think they are? theres countless places in the middle east where they can be, itd take a lifetime to kill them all off. they see the problem beyond that, we need to take care of AMERICA, not take over the world.
I feel that Obama would be a great candidate in 4-8 years. I feel he is too inexperienced and could benefit from more time in office. I favor Clinton because I can look past her scandalous background and because of her experience.
It does not matter now who gets in office because the only canidate who answerd questions and had solutions was Ron Paul but he was censored by the corporate media after he had won all the debate polls. Now as far as hating Obama I do not hate anybody but I may not like their actions.
With a passion. He%26#039;s a liar, duplicitious and slimy.
You will find that most Democrats are naive and clueless. Even though Barack has no experience and has said %26quot;I will raise taxes%26quot; they are lining up saying he is the guy. I will repeat, he will raise your taxes. Your refunds you received this year would be less, you will pay more and more in taxes. Bill Clinton raised taxes more then any other president. The Dems say, but we were prosperous....Only because of the technical boom and silicon valley but why look at facts. Whoever is President will be in office for a resurgence in the economy. Naturally our economy dips every 7 years....Last recession was in 2001. Now it is 2008....If Barack was president we would be clamoring to get him out of office. Whoever wins this year will be elected again because they will be here for the turn around. Remember I think Churchill said something like %26quot;If you are young and not a liberal you have no heart and if you are older and not a conservative you have no brain%26quot; Conservative values are what we were founded on. We were not founded on welfare systems and taxation. If someone says they are going to take more money out of your paycheck, who would vote yes to that no matter what?
Wisdom does not always come with Age. When Obama had less experience he made the vote not to go to war. I will take Wisdom instead of ill fated experience any day.
i feel the same about mr. Obama. i think it would be awesome for a man of color to get into office. however i agree that obama isnt the right man for the job.ive read several articles about him and i dont agree with his past, present, and future. whatsoever. he wont even recite the pledge of allegience, or pay any respect to the US flag.
One article that really caught my eye was that he had a muslim background. %26quot;obama was enrolled in a wahabi school in Jakarta. wahabism is the RADICAL teacihing that is followed by the muslim terrorists who are now waging war against the western world, since it is pollitically expedient to be a christian when seeking major public office in the US, Barack HUSSEIN obama has joined the United chrurch of christ in an attemt to downplay his muslim background.%26quot;
This aggravates me that people think this man is the guy for the job!!. the terrorists said they planned on destroying the US from the inside out... what better way to do so than with the head hancho himself. its crazy. people just assume that having the first colored person in office will change everything.. but they neglect to read the facts first. maybe we will find out that he will change EVERYTHING... like having connections with people with %26quot;bigger plans%26quot;
JGDKJ:SF dkfja;dsjf; IM AGGRAVATED!
Hi Kelly... its not just %26#039;young voters%26#039; who are supporting Obama. Im a near 40 year old mother of three who is facing the reality that the SS tax I pay into isnt going to be around to help me when Im a senior and the cost of educating my teen and two little ones is going to be atronomical. As an educated voter I see that the US has had the same approach to the rest of the world since its inception-partly because it has always been the same %26#039;face%26#039; across the table. This is not about surrendering. We won remember? Mission accomplished? Topple Saddam. Liberate the Iraqis? We%26#039;re there still because its FINANCIALLY advantageous for the people in charge to STAY there. If no one was making money off this war of convenience we would have shaken the dust from our boots long ago.
As a working mother with children, I have no intention of letting McCain push us into more wars. He%26#039; ll be dust in the grave and my grandkids will still be paying for this %26#039;cowboy%26#039; mentality that %26#039;old white men%26#039; have towards the rest of the planet.
Im an evangelical by the way. Obama 08
you got it right sister and what you mention is just the tip of the iceburg about this guy,obama.
I don%26#039;t hate Obama... hating someone because of political view points is probably the dumbest thing in the world. However, there are many things that he hasn%26#039;t answered. When he pulls out of Iraq, how is he going to keep stability in the middle east? Is he going to use %26quot;diplomacy%26quot; with Iran. The UN has put sanctions on Iran and everything going in and out of Iran has to be inspected. You think Iran hasn%26#039;t been licking there chops at setting up a government like the one they have in Iran in Iraq? We can win this war it%26#039;s just people now a days are so impatient and are used to winning things so quickly. It doesn%26#039;t work that way. So how is Obama going to solve the middle east? He wants to bring about %26quot;change%26quot; in Washington but he hasn%26#039;t give any solutions to how he%26#039;s going to bring about change. He can give a great speech, but, he sounds like a typical politican, promise the moon but never give solutions to how he%26#039;s going to how he%26#039;ll deliver. I don%26#039;t hate him though, I%26#039;ve never met the guy, but I don%26#039;t agree with his views or lack of stances at all.
Obama should win, America needs a young president.
Yes. I do.
Im a Hilary fannnnnnnn :]
and barack haterrrrrrr
