It's a great read, not a big book (maybe 100 pages) and should be required reading for kids by their parents in my opinion.

It is my dream to dump the Federal Reserve. I don't know if I will see it happen in my lifetime, though. So many people on both sides of the aisle don't seem to have a problem with it.
Yes. Funny how such a fundamental policy that affects literally every single person living in this country was able to be passed in violation of our constitution without going through the amendment process.

You know, my wife and I have been going back and forth over something we would like to buy that cost a good deal of money. We haven't bought it though because we don't agree and as long as we disagree we'll not buy it either. Of course we're both conservative so maybe that makes a difference in the decision making process. If, though, she or I would have rushed the purchase through without due diligence and appropriate consideration then one or both of us may not be re-elected come next wedding anniversary.

Yes, it does. New Hampshire has drafted a resolution (HCR 6) to secede if Obama does much more of what he is trying to do. 8 other states are drafting similar resolutions.
Every time congress does something in a rush I get suspicious. I was just watching a program on the Military History Channel about Hitler and how he came to power. One of his ex-bodyguards said he didn't really like Hitler but his speeches just energized him. Sound like anyone we know?
