Nascar Nation change is good?

With Allmendinger finishing up the season in the #10 car do you think the change will do him good? Will the #10 be more successful in your opinion? Or will the #10 ruin AJ%26#039;s chances of getting a good ride for 09?

Inquiring minds want to know!|||I do not think that the Evernham Dodge is going to run as strong as the Red Bull Toyota. Ever since they got Jimmy Elledge as the crew chief on the 84 car the finishes have been much better. The Dodges have been inconsistent all year, they can win one week and then be last in qualifying later on. I think that any extra exposure AJ gets right now improves his chances of getting a decent ride next year. He has a little more learning to do but he also has a lot of potential. You would think that AJ would be a good fit at MWR, where he will be in the 00 car THIS week.

3 STR8 N 08!!!|||He may do a little better but I think for a team to do better it%26#039;s a combination of how a team and driver works together. Seeing as they have not worked together his time may be limited this year for any big improvement to show on either one%26#039;s part.|||I think of it more as a second chance to show what he%26#039;s got...

He%26#039;ll do a fine job and get a ride next year...

Allmendinger is kinda growing on me....

He%26#039;s got a good attitude|||I thought he was driving the 00 car for the rest of 08 and will be in the GEM #10 for 09.

Oh well at least he has a ride, that is all that matters. I am confused today as usual. lol|||I think it%26#039;ll help him out a lot. I%26#039;ve been following A.J. as one of my %26quot;Developing%26quot; Drivers. Right now he%26#039;s one of my better developing drivers. But I do think it will do him a lot of good. But as of now, only time can tell. I wouldn%26#039;t mind him getting a top five this week at Charlotte. But for the win I hope my other Developing driver, David Ragan, wins this week.|||He won%26#039;t qualify it like Carpentier did...

Welcome back Jeff! Just was wondering where you were. We miss that trivia.|||He is listed in the 00 for this weekend...............Did not know that he was in the 10 after that..................|||I don%26#039;t think he%26#039;ll make the 10 car go much faster. And I think team owners will certainly take into account the car he%26#039;s driving when they look at his success/failure in that car. I think he%26#039;ll end up in the 41 next year. Ganassi seems to love the former open wheelers.|||I feel horrible for Patrick. At least he was replaced with someone I like, I guess. I don%26#039;t think AJ will set the world on fire, but he should be solid, if he can make it in the races, that is.

I wonder what Elliott thinks about it, I wouldn%26#039;t think he%26#039;s forgotten about the All-Star deal...|||He diffidently is a talented driver who we%26#039;ll hear from in the years to come. He gets the most out of everything he drives as his track record shows us. But I agree that it is a team as a whole that would make him really shine and do better. AJ wood be a front runner every week with the right team behind him.|||No, I don%26#039;t think he%26#039;ll be successful in the #10 or #00, they both suck. Dingalinger and Elledge were doing wonders for the #84. I do hope he can get a decent ride next year.|||I think the change to the #10 car will be great for AJ. However will he be successful. I hate to say it, but I dont think so. Only for the fact that he will be driving equipment that probably wont fit him properly, and he will have to learn how to mesh with the new crew and teammates. I dont think these last few races will ruin AJ%26#039;s chance. It may increase his chance. Who knows GEM may even pick him up to ride full season next year (unless he gets beat out by Reed Sorenson).|||i dont think can keep up

maybe he should try a nationwide car||| This is a positive move even though it is a temporary ride. Will it help ?It will if he has some good runs and some good qualifying.
