Carrie Nation-Change History?

I want to schoose Carrie Nation as my history day topic, but how did she change or affect history? I know she was an anti-alcohol person, but what did that do to history? The more details the better, thanks. |||She got a lot of women involved in the temperance movement, which would eventually lead to Prohibition with the 18th Amendment. It helped changed women%26#039;s gender roles by getting them out of the house and doing things that would have been unheard of for women like waging protests.





It probably played a role in the development of the Women%26#039;s Suffrage movement by getting women politically active, which led to women getting the vote with the 19th Amendment.





Edit: I may be overstating that, because women weren%26#039;t just in the home and were involved in labor protests and other things before then.|||It eventually created a supply demand for alcohol and and brought about the gangs to fill that demand. So, you could say, she got her way for awhile with th ban of alcohol but it caused many murders and gang wars because Prohibition just opened up the possibilities to illegal activity. Activity that many famous and wealthy people got involved in . One was reputed to be old Joe Kennedy, father of all the Kennedy political clan. He was reportedly a %26quot;rum rummer%26quot;.
