I am so happy that words cannot even describe the joy that I have. I was in tears at the inauguration day when he made his beautiful speech. America was founded upon bigotry, hatred, fear, and evilness. Obama is going to change that. He is going to change this nation into a good nation. A nation of where CEO%26#039;s won%26#039;t be making billions of dollars. A nation of where the poor will not be poor anymore, but instead live a comfortable life of where everything is affordable. A nation of where there is not a class of rich, middle class, or poor ... instead it will be a nation that everyone is equal. The scary thing is that there are losers and parasites who actually think like that..............|||I take it that you don%26#039;t like capitalism. The thing is, most people who make a lot of money, have worked crazy hard their entire lives, and are still working crazy hard. I%26#039;m not saying that other people don%26#039;t work just as hard, because there is some luck involved, but for the most part, the better worker will move up in the ranks. What Obama proposes is to stop the incentive to work hard. I mean, the way it is, is that if I make over about a quarter of a million dollars, then I will be taxed like crazy and pay for some other persons helth care. The other option would be to not work hard and just make the average salary, then somebody else could pay for my health car.
Let me put it into a real life perspective. A couple weeks ago I made a clean 1000 dollars by short term trading in the stock market. Currently there is around a 40% tax on this, which means that after all of my research and trading, instead of 1000 dollars, I made 600 dollars. What Obama proposed to do is to increase that tax to 90%. That would mean that instead of 1000 dollars, I would get 100 dollars. Now, let me ask you, is that %26quot;equal%26quot;. I was the only person who did the research and I was the person who risked my own money (which I easily could have lost 1000 or so as well). Is that %26quot;equal%26quot;.
Don%26#039;t get me wrong, I%26#039;m not saying that taxes are bad, taxes are necesary for our government to function, but excesivly large taxes are bad. The thing that dictates how big our taxes are is how big our government is, and how much %26quot;stuff%26quot; they provide for us. Liberals feel that they should provide more %26quot;stuff%26quot; (health care right now is a big one). Personally I take a more conservative aproach and feel that I would rather do things on my own.
I would go into a lot more, but this is already starting to feel a little bit like an essay, and I just got done writing one of those. But one more thing you should probably know; Obama is not going to change all that much. He can propose and talk about change all he wants, but for the most part, not much will change. I mean ya, the rich might pay a ten percent more or so in taxes and the poorer might get some health care, but overall the rich will still be rich and the poor will still be poor. The capitalist views that America was founded upon (that you seem to asociate with bad stuff), is not the problem. Even in communsim (which is what you were describing) there is still somebody who is higher than all the rest. Ya, you can argue that that is not ideal communnism, but so far, there is no such thing as ideal comunism. The problem is that human tendencies are to be selfish irregardless of the economic structure.|||I hope that is sarcasm but if not i think that you have stopped being American and need to move.|||Are you one of the two Pittsburgh protesters that was on Hannity tonight?
