When George Bush was president we were perceived as the bad guys by many foreign nations. Obama is changing this, we are now perceived as weak.|||I would rather be perceived as evil than weak. Weakness gets you killed while being perceived as evil really doesn%26#039;t result in anything these days but a lot of hot air on the part of the world%26#039;s blowhards.|||Needs to be a medium, Walk Softly but carry a big stick. Bush didn%26#039;t walk softly enough and Obama has just a twig..so, both are wrong.|||Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me.|||I don%26#039;t care what the world at large thinks of us...
They expect our charity
They expect our economy will always support theirs
They expect us to be the worlds police force
AND
They expect us to mind our own business

If you are seen as evil the world sanctions your country. See Iran, North Korea as current examples.
If you are seen as weak you inspire aggression from the evil countries.
So, to answer your question Weak is better than Evil but, not by much.|||Lets become semi-Isolationist like we were before WWII. We don%26#039;t need to go around and waste all of this money on fixing other countries are own country is messed up enough as it is. Trade is obviously a good thing but we rely on it too much. Raise import taxes to keep jobs in the US. Because we cant compete with China%26#039;s 50 cents per hour minimum wage.

We dont need to go around trying to fix all other countries, that is not %26quot;walking softly%26quot; Because when we help out countries other countries are mad that there neighbors got help and they didn%26#039;t and this causes hatred and anger towards the US.
