Former allies look like they are planning on bombing us %26quot;out of love%26quot; so that we go out in a blaze of glory instead of the steady slide into National %26quot;Alzheimer's%26quot; where we believe we are still in good times as it falls all around us.
I don't know if Barack Obama is the man to lead us back to greatness; but we sure as h*ll better change something. And that is as true of McCain as it is of Obama. We are definitely going in the wrong direction.The course we are on has already led us to ruin.I'd rather %26quot;change%26quot; back to the foundation upon which this nation is predicated. The country is socialist with or without Obama in the White House. Why am I paying for some idiots, idiot child to sit in class, not even bother to pay attention and learn absolutely nothing?Many things have made America great.
We should reflect on those things and want
to keep them in place (the nuclear family,
for instance). We need to make changes
carefully and only for the good of America,
not for a Democrat, or a president. It's
scary when Obama just makes a blank
statement that he's gonna make changes.I do not want a %26quot;Socialist%26quot; state. The ownership of private property, and the free enterprise system with free markets made this country great. Capitalism detracts from innovation almost as much as Socialism. Small business has always been the backbone of the American Economy, but regulation, the income tax, and Congressional inaction are slowly detracting from our greatness. A single individual like Obama and his brand of Socialism can cause us great harm. It is going to take a combined effort to right our ship and the Dems never have an answer, they just have issues with no solutions/I dont have a problem with Socialism. What I do have a problem with is this country adopting socialistic programs and ideologies without making the change.
If we, as a nation, decided to become a Socialist nation, I'd be all for that. But until that is set in stone as law, I have a big problem with things like welfare, universal healthcare and the such.
