What is one specific issue that you want to see changed in the U.S. as a nation?

what would be your solution to this issue?

I just want to see different POVsWhat is one specific issue that you want to see changed in the U.S. as a nation?Stop blaming everyone else for your problems and just deal with it.

Less prejudice in immigration policy and a little more generosity. We are a nation of immigrants after all.

If you want the job that you claim they are taking, then apply for it. The so called drug smuggling stuff is done by native born folks or they can't wait to get back to their own country to bring more up. The ones who immigrate want nothing to do with that kind of thing. They're hard working folks and just want someplace to earn it.
Have highr gas prices like the rest of the world.
I would like for us to stop subsidizing ethanol. Ethanol turned out to be a bad idea and it's time to de-incentivize. . Even the anti-climate change crowd has acknowledged that biofuels will make the alleged carbon problem worse, not better. Also, as it turns out, even though E-85 (gas mixed with ethanol) is cheaper by the gallon, it is less efficient and therefore costs you more (you get less bang for your buck than with straight petroleum gasoline.) Since we are diverting 25% of our corn crops for ethanol production while global demand for feed corn and other grain is rising as India and China become more affluent, food prices are getting ridiculous. We are able to send less food aid to poor countries and food banks here are also feeling the pain. Some parts of the world, people are rioting and in Haiti, people are eating mud.

Ethanol is not the answer. To fill the tank of one SUV takes the equivalent of one American's yearly corn consumption. Let's get out of this before investors become even more entrenched. Besides, there is still a steadily growing demand for grain from around the world.
I want to see them bring back the steam engine.
